A customer found that the hotel’s fourth and sixth floors were out of use and the lights had been turned off. However, both floors were accessible to customers by stairs and elevator, even without lights on. (February 2005)
A customer found two fire extinguisher boxes—with the fire extinguishers missing—on the fourth and tenth floors. (February 2005)
When visiting the 9 th floor, a customer was surprised to find the guest hallway nearly dark and blocked with buckets, rags, trash, wooden boards and rolls of wallpaper. (February 2005)
A customer found an exit stairway cluttered and blocked by a ladder, boards, buckets and other materials. In a nearby stairway, he found an iron and ironing board in the walkway. (February 2005)
When going for a soda, a customer found several bags of trash lying next to the vending machine.(February 2005)
